SO WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON?

ALPHA!

After a long hiatus, ALPHA returns to Caledonia!  We are excited, because we have seen how great an impact this wonderful ministry has had on our lives and on the life of our congregation.  Every Wednesday night, 6pm, starting January 25, at 14726 Caledonia Rd. (Just opposite Main Street).  ALPHA is awesome- life changing!  Come!

MEN

Men's group is reforming!  We met for a breakfast together on November 19 and had an awesome time together.  We will met again in January, and momentum is evident.  We will be having pizza together at Carlyle's in Rockford at 6:30pm on February 23.  Welcome to all men.

We are also inviting all men to consider coming to the Rockford Iron Sharpens Iron Men's Ministry event March 17, at 1st Evangelical Free Church in Rockford.  More details to follow...

WOMEN

The SIS group is making intentional changes to better address the spiritual needs of the members.  All women are welcome to come, every 3rd Saturday, at the church, at 9am, unless indicated otherwise on the calendar.

CHILDENS CHURCH

At last!  Every Sunday morning we now have Childrens Church for toddlers up to 5th grade.  And the kids have fun!  We are grateful to be able to offer the service.

EXPLORERS!

Kids continue to show up, work on homework, learn about God, and have fun!  And now we have some more adult leaders to help.  This outreach to our neighborhood grade school kids is an awesome way to touch them and their families.  Every Wednesday from 3:45-5-30

WEDNESDAY PRAYER AND ADULT DISCUSSION

The sanctuary is open every Wednesday afternoon for private prayer.  We gather for community prayer at 5:30 or so, and then launch our discussion at 6:00.  Now, starting January 25, Bible Study is replaced with ALPHA, meeting at Steve and Lynn Barrick's house, 14726 Caledonia Rd. (West side of Caledonia Rd., directly opposite west Main Street.  See our ALPHA page

QUEST

Our ministry to middle and high school students meets at noon on every other Sunday, following worship and fellowship (translated: snacks!).  It seems a crazy time to meet, but it works!  There's discussion, conversation, food, and often an event.   Church kids, neighborhood kids, whomever.  Come!
